DPS® Nitinol

Dynamic plateau strength wire Nitinol device designers to achieve a high stiffness in applications requiring between a 1.5% and 8% strain, when the material enters the plateau region on a stress-strain curve. This means that a guidewire made from DPS® Nitinol that has undergone a slight initial bend will exhibit greater resistance to being bent further.
