Dynamic Plateau Strength wire achieves a high stiffness in applications requiring between a 1.5% and 8% strain, when the material enters the plateau region on a stress-strain curve. This means that a guidewire made from DPS® Nitinol that has undergone a slight initial bend will exhibit greater resistance to being bent further.
Available in diameters from 0.009” (0.228 mm) – 0.030” (0.762 mm) and in discrete lengths ranging from 0.5” (12.7 mm) – 144” (3.657 m).
