Information concerning the assemblies expected life, working loads, environment and other application specific requirements will help our engineers exceed the requirements.
Fort Wayne Metals can cut strand and cable materials in a few different ways. A strand or cable can be shear cut with squared ends or it can be weld fused with a weld bead at or, if desired, larger than the original cable (see images on the right). These welded ends can be further modified into tapered ends or joined by welding to other solid or stranded construction. Finished assemblies can be cleaned and passivated according to your requirements.
