Fort Wayne Metals is introducing a new flat wire stock program designed to provide customers with faster shipping on small quantity orders and the ability to make purchases with their major credit cards.

Through this program, small quantities of master spool flat wire will now be shipped the next day while custom spool flat wire will be shipped in one week. In addition, Fort Wayne Metals provides a variety of shipping options including the ability to specify which spool type a customer wants or the option to pack spools that are subject to corrosion in desiccant packets.

Flat wire, often referred to ribbon wire, is commonly used in devices designed to reduce catheter profiles or increase available lumen size. Typical applications include safety wires in catheter guide wire and helical coils in catheter guide wire and braiding wire.
