Fort Wayne Metals adds 60,000 square foot plant to its Fort Wayne facility.

In an ongoing effort to better support its customers and to meet an increased demand for its products, Fort Wayne Metals has purchased a vacant plant adjacent to its existing Corporate office which will create a 25 acre campus on Indianapolis Road.

The remodeled facility will become the Premium Products Division with over 60,000 square feet of floor and office space. Initial plans call for three departments: Nitinol, Special Operations (strands & cables) and Custom Assembly (beading, grinding & finishing operations) to move into the building in mid-to-late September of this year.

Significant remodeling will also occur in the vacated areas for expansion of Fort Wayne Metals laboratories and prototyping areas.
